The exhibition aims to raise awareness, the identity and profile of a collaborative group of multicultural artists working within our community.

The 4th annual Animal Action Day (AA Day) on Oct 2-3, 2010, attracted over 20 performers and speakers and raised $750 for Save China's Tigers despite heavy rain all weekend. In line with Year of the Tiger, funds go to help re-wild and breed the critically endangered South China Tiger.

Since Saturday, October 2, has started with inclement weather, we will move the stalls & stage entertainment upstairs into the hall at Gecko House, 139 Duringan St, Currumbin, and will not play films today. The full program is now online for the 4th annual Animal Action Day festival this weekend at Gecko House & Winders Park, Currumbin. People from all over Australia will descend on the Gold Coast to raise awareness, appreciation & respect
for all animals & the environment. All proceeds will go to Save China’s Tigers to re-wild and breed the critically endangered South China Tigers.

The launch of Mermaid Waters author Lynn Santer’s book, An Unbelievable Life, was celebrated in style with a black tie celebrity dinner at Sheraton Mirage on July 24.
