Aldwyn Altuney features in the April 2007 Australian Women's Weekly magazine on page 167, where she comments for a dating story.

Interestingly, she is profiled in the "Nervy 30s" section, straight after the Restless 20s and before the Second Chance 40s and Frisky 50s, 60s and beyond.

With 2.5 million readers, this is fantastic Xposure and proves she will do just about anything to gain publicity! The story is a hoot and very insightful - check it out!

She also has a three-page feature story and photos of Gold Coast entrepreneur Tony Vallone in the April XL magazine. Based in Singapore, the magazine goes to thousands of people across the world. Upcoming feature stories in her new Sole Search series include success coach Kurek Ashley, Brilliant Lifestyle founder/ comedienne Sam Backman and US health expert Don Tolman.

Aldwyn was on the Freelancers’ Panel at the Walkley Foundation’s MediaPass Student Industry Day on April 3 at Brisbane Square Library.

She talked about how she managed to build a successful career, how she networked as a freelancer, how she had survived in the industry and some challenges involved in a freelancer's life.

Aldwyn joined representatives from ABC TV and radio, Channel 7 and 10, Southern-Cross Radio and Courier-Mail in the hotspot that day.

The MediaPass student day program is a national series of seminars for final year media/journalism students, which aims to provide a realistic idea of what it is like to work in the media, and to allow industry professionals to offer them advice as they embark on the first steps of their careers.

Then, from 5pm to 6pm that day, radio host Marie Brunger interviewed her at Planet Radio in her show, Field of all Possibilites. They discussed how Aldwyn came from the depths of despair in her youth to follow her passions and run a successful media company. Heard on 88FM, it broadcast to 30,000 loyal listeners in Brisbane city.

Aldwyn's closing words were: "Follow your passions. You don't want to be on your death bed having regrets. Do what you love. Go for it!"
