Photojournalist and AA Xposé Media & Photography director Aldwyn Altuney gave the crowd some great tips on marketing themselves to the media at the National College of Business (NCB) in August when she led two rare Do It Yourself Publicity Power Breakfasts.
The first one was at the NCB Gold Coast office on Thursday, August 24, 2006, and at the NCB Brisbane office on August 31, both at 6.45am.
Aldwyn provided tips on how to approach the media, what makes a good story, how to write a press release and how to maximise media Xposure.
She drew on 15 years of media experience, working in TV and radio stations, magazines and newspapers all around Australia.
Entry was just a $10 donation, with all proceeds going to the Step Up Foundation.
