AA Xposé Media & Photography director Aldwyn Altuney had a blast as an MC on the Murri Stage at the Woodford Folk Festival over the New Year period.
On stage from December 27, 2005, to January 1, 2006, she had the pleasure of working alongside the likes of Great Outdoors host Ernie Dingo, TV current affairs presenter George Negus and indigenous singer-songwriters Kev Carmody, Toni Janke and Shellie Morris.
She also had a starring role as a comedic 'barrel girl', alongside her Melbourne mate Aubrey, in the festival's daily inaugural Didjaknow Trivia Quiz.
The 20th annual Woodford Folk Festival on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, attracted about 125,000 people from all over the world over the five days of the festival. Launched by Queensland Premier Peter Beattie, it is the largest folk festival in Australia, with more than 2000 performers and 20 stages.
