And here's some more information on the event for you...

What an extravaganza of a night!

The inaugural event supersceded expectations many times over with wonderful feedback flooding in after such a gala event.

Channel 7 joined in to cover this night of nights so keep an eye out on the TV...you just might see yourself having the best night of the year!

The high calibre of applicants, the gala dinner, the wonderful food, the dancing, the entertainment, the sponsors .. and of course all who attended and made this the best night ever.

Kevin Turner from 4BC (Real Estate Talk) did an amazing job as MC for the night, while Paul Eslick and Geoff Doidge (Reno Kings) provided a laugh a minute entertaining everyone.

Judith Taylor and Rachel Barnes were jumping out of their skins with excitement as they introduced and welcomed the winner of Property Woman of the Year, Kerrie Kerr.

Thank you to the wonderful sponsors of this event: Reno Kings, Pricefinder, Real Tenants - Real Property Managment, Kevin Turner (4BC), Somersoft, Residex, Australian Property Investor Magazine, Developing For Profit, PIAA (insurance), MGA insurance broker and TSL Quantity Surveyors.

AND THE WINNERS ARE:

Property Woman of the Year - Kerrie Kerr

Kerrie Kerr
In the last 4 years, Kerrie has added $4.1m to her property portfolio by purchasing 25 rentals in Brisbane and regional NSW. This Wonder Woman has completed 16 renovations and manages all of the NSW properties herself. Kerrie adds value through renovation, strata and subdivision. Kerrie saves costs by not selling and believes in holding property to take advantage of the financial growth in equity.

Development Diva - Debbie Williams

Debbie Williams
After being homeless from the age of 15, Debbie really understood the value of having a roof over her head.  She watched the market start to rise in 2001 and decided that she didn't want to miss out. Debbie has gone on to fine tune her strategy which has allowed her to create $1m in equity in just 12 months!

Reno Kings' Best Newcomer - Cherie White

Cherie White
This divorced mum of 3, takes multitasking to the next level. Because Cherie has shared custody of her children, every second week is a child free week. That's when she flies off to New Zealand to purchase and renovate property. "I'm hooked, can't get enough of property...I eat it, breath it, sleep it". Cherie's plans for 2010 are to replicate her NZ strategy in Sydney.

Cash Flow Queen - Prue Muirhead

Prue Muirhead
This working mother of 2 from Adelaide realised that the harder she worked in her business, the harder she had to work. She was missing out on spending valuable time with her children. She began investing by using 106% of the banks money to fund her deals. For Prue, "property as a passion and a real life game of Monopoly". She's given up her business to tour Australia in a caravan with her husband and children onboard. No doubt she'll be visiting property deals at the same time.

Reno Queen - Jacinta Scicluna

Jacinta Scicluna
This mother of 5 from NSW began investing to help 2 of her children get to Uni in Brisbane. Now Jacinta involves the whole family in ripping out ceilings and painting. She loves renovating old properties that most people think should be knocked down. With her most recent project, Jacinta is now an experienced snake buster.
