Galaxy of Stars Celebrate Non-Profits!
The Gold Coast is set to sparkle with the arrival of Australian stars gathering to celebrate the amazing achievements of non-profit organisations throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Australian celebrities that will be in attendance at the red carpet event include Cosima De Vito, the cast of Home and Away and Neighbours, Barry Crocker, Angry Anderson, Mimi Macpherson, Diana Anaid, Alby Mangels, Andrew Mercado, Mike Kerry, Kendal Nagorka, best selling author Lynn Santer and World Salsa Champions Oliver Pineda and Luda Kroiter.
Hosted by Australian TV Star and tireless charity ambassador Paula Duncan, the awards will honor all those hardworking individuals within in the non-profit sector that do such great work for our community.
The Not-For-Profit Network Awards are an Australian first and the only awards program to cover the entire non-profit sector in Australia and New Zealand.
Managing Director of NFPN Belinda Busoli said that the presence of the celebrities is important as it brings much-needed exposure to non-profit organisations.
"Having the celebrities support the awards is so wonderful. The celebrities draw attention to the awards ceremony and the hard-working non-profit organisations.
"These organisations do an amazing job. Unfortunately, many of them do not receive the exposure that they need and deserve. Hopefully, with the help of the celebrities, people will take greater notice of their efforts and continue to support their achievements," she said.
Four award categories will highlight the accomplishments of the people, projects, and organisations whose ongoing efforts help strengthen the fabric of our society and contribute to maintaining a strong and vibrant sector.
Mimi Macpherson, Cosima De Vito, Barry Crocker, Diana Anaid, Paula Duncan, Angry Anderson, Neridah Leishman, Mike Kerry, Kendal Nagorka, Alby Mangels, Lynn Santer, Oliver Pineda, Luda Kroiter, Andrew Mercado and award finalists (now released) are available for interview upon confirmed request.
