Show founder Suzie Wright said the biannual non-profit event was Australia's leading show for construction, earthmoving and landscaping contractors.
"It is run by industry professionals for industry professionals," Ms Wright said.
"All profits and money raised from the charity raffles and auctions will go to Make-A-Wish® Australiafor children with life-threatening illnesses."
Ms Wright said she started the expo in 1995 to provide an event dedicated to earthmoving. Other industry shows had become expensive and she believed they could have been better run to suit the industry spectrum.
"They had all become static shows and there's nothing more boring than going to a show and seeing static displays," she said.
"Most people are visual buyers and like to see how things work. There will be millions of dollars worth of equipment working that people can test drive and compare. They can see them in working conditions, tour the factory and see how the attachments are actually made. It's a fabulous visual platform we have created to support our dealers while raising money for a good cause."
Gates will open at noon on May 16, kicking off with machinery demonstrations/ factory tours, the official Digga factory/ expo opening at 1.30pm and continue with Sloth Industries Freestylers performance from 2-2.30pm and well-known Gold Coast rock covers band Chrome, led by multi-talented singer Mich, from 5-8.30pm.
An added feature of the show will be the Big Boys Toys display including the current Australian champion offshore power boats, V8 race cars, sprint, drift and rally cars.
On May 17, there will be more machinery demonstrations, trade displays and factory tours.
"It will be a fun event for the whole family," she said.
