The S.T.A.R.S. (Screen Theatre and wRiters Studios) 6th Anniversary Awards night at Avica Resort, Merrimac, on February 7 was a huge success, thanks to the participation of so many film industry, media and government personalities who attended.
The great crowd showed appreciation to the group's honorary lawyer/ author Chris Nyst and Patron/ Hollywood producer Simon Hunter.
The men received the '2006 S.T.A.R.S. Appreciation Awards’ for their professional advice and guidance.
The ‘Spirit of S.T.A.R.S.’ award for outstanding support and generosity to fellow filmmakers was awarded to colourful Gold Coast character, Santa Strohfeldt.

$20 for a 6 x 8 inch print (half an A4 size),
$35 for an A4 print and
$55 for an A3 print + $2 postage and handling.
They can be printed in your choice of gloss or matte, with or without borders. Framing options can also be discussed.
Special offer: For every five photos purchased, the sixth print is free at the same size as the others ordered.
To place an order, simply write a note listing the event, which photos you would like, what size prints you want and send a cheque, made out to Aldwyn Altuney, or money order for the relevant amount to PO Box 114, Southport BC, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, 4215. Don’t forget to include a business card or your contact details, including the best address to send the photos to.
