REMARKABLE US author/ pioneer Brandon Bays returns to Australia as part of a 30-country tour for Journey Intensive Weekends in 2009 to share the powerful work that saw her heal herself naturally from a football-sized stomach tumor in just six and a half weeks.
Brandon will provide tools, answers, healing and freedom through her transformational workshops on the Gold Coast from February 14-15; Sydney from February 21-22 and Melbourne from February 28 to March 1.
The Journey Australasia director Laurie Collins said more than 40,000 people worldwide had attended Journey Intensive Weekends since the first one was held in 1994.
"After Brandon healed herself from her tumor without drugs or surgery in 1992, she pioneered a simple, deeply profound and effective healing method called The Journey," Laurie said.
"This method of transformation is being used around the world by everyday people to create true healing and lasting change in people's lives."
She said the work had helped thousands of people worldwide free themselves from issues such as fear, anxiety, stress, depression, low self-esteem, chronic anger, physical illnesses and those relating to addictions, sexual abuse, relationship problems and career performance.
"Anyone can achieve extraordinary results, no matter what age, background, culture or upbringing," she said.
The Journey Intensive weekend provides uniquely potent tools for awakening and liberating the infinite human potential. The process is now commonly used in hospitals, doctor surgeries, prisons, schools, addict centres, orphanages, businesses and tribal communities around the world including Australia and New Zealand. In rural South Africa, 11,600 impoverished children received Journey work through Outreach.
"This is not just one woman's story but the journey of every human on this planet and the tools to help us on our way. This is a living example of the human spirit and how one can empower hundreds of thousands to liberate their own potential and to live an inspired life full of grace," Laurie said. "The stories of healing that come into our offices daily are truly amazing and humbling - people in everyday life situations of suffering, loss of inspiration, lack of hope, knowing deep within that there is something more to life and taking the step to make a change by going within."
Brandon's best-selling book, The Journey, has sold about 54,000 copies in Australia since its publication in 1999. It is published in more than 20 languages and is printed in over 30 countries. The Journey has more than 2000 practitioners worldwide.
Laurie said she felt the fact The Journey was rapidly growing around the world would mean this could be Brandon's last visit to Australia for quite a while.
"This is people's opportunity to experience this work with the pioneer and author," Laurie said.
At the free introductions, guests will learn about the foundation principles of the Journey, do some guided meditations and hear how people have been impacted by the work.
Journey practitioners will host free introduction nights from Byron Bay to Sydney from January 27-February 5, 2009.
The Journey (published by HarperCollins) retails for $28. Her other books include The Journey for Kids (2003) and her latest offering, Freedom Is (2006).
