The heat will rise on the Gold Coast for a hot dance night at Albert Waterways Community Hall on January 28, 2012

Gold Coast MAGIC will welcome 2012 with a hot dance night at Albert Waterways Community Hall, Broadbeach, on Saturday, 28th January, 2012, from 7pm.

The night consists of unique world dance music performances by professional dance groups, some for the first time on the Gold Coast.

The performers are mainly based in Brisbane and are famous statewide.

They include:

Flamenco and other Spanish dances by OYe Ritmo – a National known Spanish Dane Group;

World Romany (Gypsy) Fusion by Soul Dance Group;

Middle-eastern dance by Elenie

Hungarian guitar and violin by Vasil & Vasil World Music & Dance for everyone

About Oye Ritmo: From the grace and timeless elegance of classical Spanish dance to the earthiness and spirit of traditional folk dances and fiery flamenco, performances by Oye Ritmo will captivate audiences of all ages. Beating footwork, vibrant costumes and intricate castanet rhythms feature as part of their breathtaking performances.

As the event is not for profit, a small entry fee pf $12 will be charged to cover related expenses. Quality food at reasonable prices will be provided by a Hungarian group on the night.
